Here are some FACTS about his voting record:

  • VOTED FOR Speed cameras 3 TIMES, yet claims on his website and campaign literature that he opposes speed / red light cameras. (HB396, HB1023, HB1314 –Environmental matters committee votes, 2009)  http://www.votewaynenorman.net/Issues.html

Your Incumbent delegate, Donna Stifler has voted:

  • FOR using $2.2 million of taxpayer money to fund abortions (HB50, 2007) in her very first year in office AFTER running as a pro-life candidate in the campaign of 2006.   • To limit employers and employees freedom to enter into agreements with employees and contractors (HB819,2009). Every other Republican member of the Harford delegation voted against this anti-business bill. http://mlis.state.md.us/2009rs/billfile/hb0819.htm An assisted living center in Upper Crossroads was financially devastated and nearly put out of business by the enforcement of  this legislation.
  • FOR a scheme to raise revenue that will drive up the cost of energy and create more bureaucracy (HB1556, 2009). Every other Republican member of the Harford Delegation voted against this bad bill that will drive up energy costs for Marylanders. http://mlis.state.md.us/2009rs/billfile/hb1556.htm
  • Voted for a bill restricting the sale of certain types of lawn fertilizer. “MDA advises that small fertilizer retailers, such as hardware stores and nurseries, may experience a loss in revenue if manufacturers decide to suspend the sale of their products in Maryland in lieu of reformulating and relabeling them, or if products containing phosphate are purchased out of state.” Source:Maryland General Assembly Legislative Services.
